This release note provides a brief summary of recent product updates and new features.

📦 This release includes:

• Qualification Profiles – bundle shift requirements, save time, avoid errors
• Settings for locations (custom, Google Places, railway stations)
• Mobile App update coming during the week 25 May until 31 May 2026

Qualification profiles – bundle shift requirements, save time, avoid errors

Previously, qualifications for a shift had to be searched and assigned individually — every single time. A single shift can quickly include up to 10 requirements: vehicle type knowledge, route knowledge, current RFUs, and more. This costs time and invites mistakes.

With Qualification Profiles, that's a thing of the past.

Requirements are bundled once in a profile and then assigned as a group to a shift. When an employee is assigned, WILSON automatically checks all stored qualifications in one go. Instead of 10 individual steps, dispatchers and safety managers now just need to do one

A Concrete Example

For a scheduled service between Prague and Hamburg, a train driver needs at least 9 valid qualifications:

• 2× Local knowledge (Prague and Hamburg)
• 1× Vehicle type knowledge for the assigned traction unit
• At least 4× route knowledge for all sub-sections
• 2× Additional certification

Without Qualification Profiles, correct assignment was tedious — and in practice, dispatchers often relied on memory rather than the data stored in WILSON. With the new profile "Scheduled service Prague–Hamburg", a one-time setup is all it takes: assign the profile to the shift, and WILSON does the rest.

What's Coming Next?

In the next version, Qualification Profiles will become even more powerful: training needs can be identified at a glance, and the process of creating offers will be significantly simplified.

New configuration options for locations

WILSON users can now define which location categories are available in WILSON: rail sidings, Google Places, and custom locations. The settings can be found under Company Settings → Locations. From there, users can activate via toggle which location categories should appear across all location searches.

In addition, custom locations can now be archived in the portal.

Mobile app update coming within the week of 25 May until 31 May 2026

During the week starting at 25 May 2026, we will be releasing a new version of WILSON Mobile for Android and iOS. Once the update is available, you will be notified directly via a pop-up in the app. Simply follow the prompt to install the latest version. 

This release includes a range of bug fixes and performance improvements, making the app faster and more reliable in your day-to-day work.
